Francesca Cumani brought timeless elegance to Flemington Racecourse in the lead-up to the Melbourne Cup Carnival, wearing a bespoke creation by Melbourne-based milliner Lauren J Ritchie for Channel 9's Wide World of Sports.
Styled by Alex Wilson, Francesca wore a custom-made Aurellia Ring Pillbox in cream, featuring a sculptural straw bow. The contemporary pillbox design combines classic millinery influences with a modern silhouette, showcasing the craftsmanship and attention to detail synonymous with Lauren J Ritchie Millinery.
The bespoke headpiece was paired with an elegant ivory off-the-shoulder dress by Australian designer Rachel Gilbert and shoes by Tony Bianco. The soft cream and ivory palette created a sophisticated, coordinated look, perfectly suited to the atmosphere at Flemington ahead of Australia's most celebrated racing carnival.
